Who is Flexin 

Flexin is a team of dedicated import professionals. We are specialized in premium fresh cut flowers from all over the world, with a focus on products from South America. Thanks to strong, long-lasting relationships with superior farms in Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya and other countries, we can provide our clients with the best quality products available on the market. Our headquarters is based in Borso del Grappa (Treviso), in northern Italy, supported by our collaborators active in Quito, Ecuador, while the warehouse is located in Aalsmeer, in the Netherlands. Our distribution extends to flower wholesale companies throughout Europe.

Our Product Range

About three quarters of the Flexin import volume from Ecuador are Roses grown on high-altitude farms, followed by Gypsophila, Hypericum, Alstroemeria, Preserved Roses as well as Tropical flowers and bouquets. Our bestsellers from Colombia are Carnations, but we also source Alstroemeria, Roses and Hydrangea from this country and aim to expand our worldwide network of first-rate suppliers.

International Network

Flexin is a member of the Flowers Express Group. In addition to the offices in Italy and Ecuador, the Flowers Express Group serves the European market with different brands: SV Blumen Express serving Germany, Flowers Express serving Italy and Flowex serving mostly in England and France. The Flowers Express Group is one of the largest importers for fresh cut flowers from South America in Europe and has long-lasting partnerships with farms for over 20 years now. Flexin itself was established in 2009.

Professional Logistics

For intercontinental transport, Flexin chooses the most specialized freight airlines with innovative cool chain solutions to preserve the high quality of the flowers and their vase life. We organize shipments at least four times per week via Schiphol Airport near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, the most important cargo airport in Europe. To ensure reliable airfreight, we cooperate with selected airlines only.

Premium Quality & Reliability

We define our role as the buyers for our clients on the one hand, and as the distributors for our more than sixty permanent suppliers on the other.
Flexin targets suppliers that offer differentiated products rather than a mainstream standard range. We constantly evaluate and monitor cultivation methods, post-harvest treatment, quality of packing and the variety types as well as the entire logistics chain in order to ensure that the products arrive at their final destination in optimal condition.
In developing our client network, Flexin provides a high-end distribution channel for our suppliers. We focus on companies that demonstrate long-term viability, both small and large wholesalers, importers and retailers alike.

We believe in on-going dialogue, mutual respect and the continuity of our relationships. We have been working with a lot of suppliers since the early years of our establishment. We also believe in working year-round for the long-term, throughout both difficult and boom periods, “helping out” each other when market necessity dictates.
